Pep Boys property in Streamwood sells for $2.4 million

The 22,000-square foot Pep Boys property in Streamwood sold for $2.4 million.

Steven D. Weinstock, first vice president/regional manager/managing broker of Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate investment firm in Oak Brook, announced the sale.

Pep Boys has been at 160 North Barrington Road in Streamwood for about 20 years. Pep Boys just signed a new 10-year lease extension at that same location.

Adrian Mendoza, Austin Weisenbeck and Sean R. Sharko, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Chicago Oak Brook office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a developer. The buyer, an individual/personal trust, was represented by Ted Kokernak, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap's Palo Alto office.
