Wauconda chamber issues scam warning

The Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce is warning people about telephone calls made by a man who falsely claims to be from the organization. The calls are being made from a number not connected to the chamber, and the caller is not a member, according to a news release from the chamber. Anyone with questions should call the chamber office at (847) 526-5580.
