Lisle police investigate armed robbery at apartment
Lisle police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Sunday night in the 4600 block of Lake Valley Drive.
They were called at 11:33 p.m. by a man saying he had been robbed at gunpoint by several people inside an apartment. The man had been contacted by a woman he didn't know and invited to a party at the apartment.
Several men hit him with a pistol and demanded his cellphone and money, the man told police. They then forced him to invite a friend to the apartment.
While waiting for that person, the victim jumped from a third-floor balcony, injuring his ankle.
Lisle police and DuPage Metro SWAT searched the apartment Monday morning.
