First Amendment lives
Last November the political left witnessed the loss of their candidate, Hillary. After five months of resisting, I had hoped by now, for their own emotional and mental healing, they could have reached the fifth stage of grief, i.e. "acceptance." But the "progressives" are making little progress and remain stuck in their self-constructed prisons of "anger" and "denial."
It is refreshing and encouraging however, to watch the First Amendment being played out on nightly news. Speech, no matter how infantile the rants, remains protected.
May we always resist the urge to shut it down. That is the only "resistance" worth exercising during these politically turbulent times.
