Pedestrian killed by vehicle Sunday in Glendale Heights

A pedestrian was killed Sunday night by a vehicle in a crash in Glendale Heights.

It happened at 8:26 p.m. near Glen Ellyn and Mitchell roads, according to a Facebook post by the Glendale Heights Police Department.

The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police declined to provide the person's gender and whether the crash was a hit-and-run.
