One arrested after Schaumburg armed robbery
One person is in custody after an armed robbery at a business in the 1000 block of South Roselle Road in Schaumburg Wednesday, authorities said. Schaumburg Police Sgt. Christy Lindhurst said the unidentified person carrying a gun entered the Check N' Go about 5:05 p.m. Employees dialed 9-1-1 after the gunman left about 5:15 p.m., Lindhurst said. Additional information was gathered at the scene that led to the arrest. She said details cannot be released until charges are filed. The robbery remains under investigation, she said.
