St. Alphonsus School honors Veterans and First Responders

On November 9th St. Alphonsus School held a special school mass to honor our Veterans and First Responders. Among those who attended was Mr. James Casey a Navy quartermaster who served 3 years on submarines and ships including the USS Pleiades during WWII. The children's choir sang patriotic songs and the students held flags as our guests processed in. The preschool - 8th grade students presented all the guests with cards they had made to show appreciation to those who risk their lives serving us and this country.
