Public doesn't know where pols stand

I'm sure the vast majority of Illinois residents are sick and tired of the budget crises in Springfield. This latest thing is the state schools in need of funds. I believe my opinion expresses the concern of many voters and they should know the stances of Madigan and Cullerton.

This state budget impasse continues to wreak havoc in our state. The "blame game" continues and nothing is getting resolved. What's going on?

The latest issue is three state colleges needing funds. Governor Rauner publicly indicated there is $160 million available for distribution. The bickering goes on and on while the schools are still waiting.

Rauner announced a "Band-Aid" type solution and blames Madigan and Cullerton for holding it back.

I wonder if the news media ever presses them for a public response and let us know where they stand. This is important in light of the upcoming election. Politicians usually say nothing of value when campaigning but by addressing current issues, the public would know where they really stand. Perhaps they don't want us to know.
