DuPage Children's Museum reopening June 5

After more than a year of being closed to the public, the DuPage Children's Museum in Naperville is reopening June 5 for general admission.

Reduced capacity and timed admission are among the new protocols in place to ensure the safety of members and guests, according to a news release from the museum. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Operations and exhibits have been modified to adhere to public health guidelines, officials said, and hand sanitizing stations and enhanced cleaning practices are in place. Masks are required for all guests over the age of 2, as the primary audience is young children who are not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination.

The museum is reactivating memberships that have been frozen since March 2020, officials said. Special member-only time slots will be available June 3 and 4, with preregistration required.
