Champ from Prospect Heights:

Jeffrey Solberg, 18, of Prospect Heights was the local winner in a Super Smash Bros. competition at GameWorks at Streets of Woodfield shopping center in Schaumburg. He gets a paid trip to Las Vegas to battle other local winners for a prize pool valued at $25,000 on June 29. Solberg, who just graduated from John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, said he got into game playing early on with his older brother and sister. He's been playing Super Smash for as long he can remember.
