Gregory 75th Wedding Anniversary - July 19, 2022

My parents, Lawrence (97) and Genevieve (94) Gregory will celebrate 75 years of marriage on July 19, 2022. My dad was from Bucktown and my mom from Old Irving Park neighborhoods on the north side of Chicago. Dad attended Wells HS and Mom, Roosevelt HS. They met at Rainbow dance hall in April 1946 just after my dad was discharged from the Navy Great Lakes Naval Base.

My dad, a veteran for the Marine Corp during WWII in the Pacific theater, and retiree from Illinois Bell Telephone Company, continues to workout 3x a week on a stationary bike and does ab strengthening, still drives my mom and himself to the grocery store, barber/beauty shop and to his daughters' homes. My mom and dad continue to tend to household activities; cooks, cleans while tending to household financials for their Lake County home.

Their success to a happy marriage? Golfing together for 30 years!
