Health bill lacks support
It is quite apparent that the groups who are affected by the health care issues have rather clearly divided into two groups depending on their primary interests. On the one side, we have the AMA, nurses, rural hospital groups, AARP, social workers who are interested in helping the less fortunate. On the other side, we have the groups who are primarily interested in themselves.
The so-called replacement of the ACA that the Republicans have put forth have garnered the unwavering support of almost 18 percent of the U.S. population. It takes a certain amount of non-talent to develop a piece of legislation that can only garner that little support. Personally, if I had an idea that had that little support, I would certainly consider therapy.
