Prince tribute band to play Schaumburg's Septemberfest

The Purple Xperience, a Prince tribute band, will be the headline musical act on the first night of Schaumburg's Septemberfest, from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3.

Though performing on the first night of the fest, The Purple Xperience is the last headline act to be named for Schaumburg's three-day festival over Labor Day weekend.

Already in the lineup are Smash Mouth, performing from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, and 7th heaven from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5.

Septemberfest takes place on Schaumburg's municipal grounds at 101 Schaumburg Court.
