St. Charles woman dies after crash near Elburn
A 31-year-old St. Charles woman died after a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday near Elburn, authorities said.
Yoselyn Mondragon, 31, of the 1900 block of Forrest Blvd., was pronounced dead at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, the Kane County sheriff's office said in a news release.
Authorities responded to a report of a crash at about 2 a.m. on Route 38 west of Route 47. The initial investigation indicates Mondragon was driving a Chevy TrailBlazer west on Route 38 when the vehicle left the roadway on the south side of the road and rolled over, the release said.
Mondragon was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, authorities said.
