Interstate Batteries opens lab at UTI

LISLE — Universal Technical Institute and Interstate Batteries recently opened a new lab space at the UTI Lisle campus.

Interstate will help deliver technology and curriculum to help technician students in their education. In addition to a branded lab space, Interstate provides batteries and battery testers for all of UTI's automotive and diesel technician training campuses, giving students hands-on experience with the products they will use on the job.

During the lab opening, Interstate met with UTI students and discussed their passion for the industry as well as their love for NASCAR — which led to Interstate donating a signed Kyle Busch helmet to the campus.
