DuPage Care Center's Fall Fest marks 56th year
The DuPage Care Center's annual Fall Festival is back virtually for its 56th year.
It will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, featuring premium raffle items, fall treats, and more - all for the benefit of the not-for-profit, fully licensed 24-hour skilled nursing facility providing long-term nursing and rehabilitation services to 300 DuPage County residents.
All funds generated through the Fall Festival will benefit the DuPage Care Center Foundation and the Recreation Fund, which support quality-of-life programs and services for the residents of the Kenneth Moy DuPage Care Center.
Pre-order the homemade staff-made desserts before Wednesday, Sept. 13. Pick up your items at the Care Center on Sept. 16 between the hours 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Items can be preordered at dpccfoundation.org/shop/.
In addition to raffle tickets, some of the offerings are: apple slices or cake rolls for $12 each; a pint of homemade apple butter for $6; and hardy mums for $15. For $10, there are premium raffle tickets for a Ninja Woodfire 8-in-1 Outdoor Oven or four-tool 20V Max DeWalt combo set.
Raffle tickets are on sale for $3, or other quantities for prices from four tickets for $10 to 55 tickets for $100.
The DuPage Care Center's annual Fall Festival would not be possible without the support of generous community partners.
Business sponsorship will not only help the care center ensure a day of fun and festivity for the whole community - it will also help provide the funding necessary to bring joy to the 300 individuals who call this facility home.
As a result, residents will continue to enjoy music and craft programs, robotic companion pets, family celebration areas, accessible gardens, and multisensory engagement tools. Additionally, your business will have the chance to connect with many of these residents, their families, and other members of the DuPage County community.
