Flyer anonymous rehash of old news
I was disgusted to receive the hit piece in the mail regarding our current Lake in the Hills Village President Paul Mulcahy. In an effort to swing election votes an anonymous person used an unnamed P.O. Box to rehash old news.
Paul has served the village in numerous positions, volunteer and elective, for the last 22 years. Our Labor Day Sunset Festival would not exist without Paul and his deceased wife's tireless volunteer efforts for over 10 years. When he joined the American Legion in 1997 it was his idea to build the veterans memorial in LITH. He more than anyone else brought that project to fruition.
Recent problems with village administrators and his actions to resolve them put on display again his strong leadership ability. I served as a trustee with Paul for four years and know he, more than others, gave of his personal time for the betterment of the village. To this day, Paul continues to give extra time and energy toward making our village a better place to live.
I support, Paul Mulcahy, a faithful servant and proven leader to continue as our LITH village president.
