Desimone receives Rising Star Dealmaker Award

OAKBROOK TERRACE - Prairie Capital Advisors Inc. said Tom DeSimone received a 2021 Americas Rising Star Dealmaker Award from M&A Atlas during the 13th annual America's Growth & Deals Virtual Forum on Jan. 26-27.

DeSimone has been a part of Prairie Capital Advisors for 10 years and leads several teams and initiatives. Prairie Capital is a corporate advisory and investment banking firm.

The Americas Rising Star Dealmaker Award honors brilliant dealmakers for their dedication, closing value-creating transactions, excellence and embodiment of fine leadership qualities to shape the future of deal making in the industry.

DeSimone is a CPA with extensive experience in advising middle-market companies on ESOP transactions (representing both companies and ESOP trustees), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial opinions, corporate valuation and other investment banking advisory services. He also works with boards of directors and companies on mature ESOP planning and sustainability.

DeSimone holds a master of accounting degree and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also currently holds FINRA Series 63 and 79 securities licenses.
