Dundee Township Lions begin annual Christmas tree sale

Snow last Saturday morning only added to the festivities as Cub Scouts, friends and neighbors came out to help the Dundee Township Lions Club members unload more than 300 Christmas trees at Grafelman Park in West Dundee for the annual Christmas tree sale.

The selling of Christmas trees is the largest fundraiser for the Lions Club. All profits from the sales go to support many community charities.

Sale hours begin Black Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and continues Saturday and Sunday with the same hours. During the following weeks Thursday and Friday hours are 6 to 8 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday until all the trees are sold. In addition to trees, there will be wreaths and garland for sale.
