Ribfest seeks extra volunteers

The Exchange Club of Naperville is seeking more volunteers to assist with the return of Ribfest. The fundraising food and music festival is back after a two-year pandemic pause and moves this year for its 33rd outing to the DuPage County Event Center and Fairgrounds in Wheaton from Friday to Monday, June 17 to 20.

According to Bev Schafman, chair for the 2022 Ribfest, about 600 people are needed to fill 1,800 volunteer spots. Volunteers are needed to help sell concessions, supervise the Wintrust Community Banks Family Fun Area, monitor gates, serve food, and other duties.

Ribfest is the Exchange Club of Naperville's major fundraiser to help fight child abuse and domestic violence.
