Spring has sprung at Morton Arboretum
At this time of year, the face of the Morton Arboretum in Lisle changes almost daily.
Visit on any given day and another of its countless trees and shrubs will be pushing out new leaves and giving the outdoor museum at 4100 Route 53 a new look.
Right now, the stars of the show are the blooming magnolias and, especially, the countless daffodils that dot both the east and west sides of the arboretum grounds.
This past weekend, and especially Easter Sunday, was an ideal time to check out the daffodils. But the good news is this: they'll remain in bloom for the next several weeks so you still have plenty of time to catch them in all their spring glory.
