FBI to present cyber security program in Schaumburg
Online purchases and electronic transactions have increased tremendously and it is important that consumers understand how to best protect themselves from cyber threats. FBI Assistant Special Agent In Charge Todd Carroll will speak at the 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, Suburban Chicago Apple Users monthly program.
Carroll will discuss consumer safety in a new cyber world, including current threats such as online scams, malware and credit card safety at the meeting at the ASA Conference Center, 1061 American Lane, Schaumburg. He will also address ransom ware and future cyber threats.
