Momentous choices
The country may be on the cusp of a momentous decision - whether to pursue principles of morality or politics of ideology.
With the flood of accusations as if a dam burst, women are coming from all walks of life charging men with sexual abuse as perpetrators and bystanders take sides in this inflammatory debate witnessing this alluvial flow of allegations.
It appears that the accused on the liberal side of the aisle reluctantly admit the occurrence and apologize for their actions with no organization coming to their defense.
Contrarily, conservatives caught up in these virtual indictments ostensibly deny responsibility, are further emboldened by politically sympathetic and religious groups, dismissing any evidence that may prove their culpability.
Shouldn't this democracy have a future with a Constitution that was inspired by moral principles, not by political expediency?
The decision rests…..
