Delmar International acquires Rotra LLC
WOOD DALE - Freight forwarding and logistics company Rotra, LLC and Rotra Brokerage Services has been acquired by Delmar International, according to Prairie Capital Advisors, which acted as exclusive financial adviser to Rotra in the transaction.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Established in 1984, Rotra serves trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic markets and is focused on American and European middle-market customers. Rotra offers international air and freight import and export, fast ocean freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and custom packaging services.
Delmar International is a privately-held Canadian-based, leading global supply chain solutions provider with 1,500 employees worldwide. Delmar's core product offering includes international freight forwarding, customs services, warehousing and distribution, technology solutions, supply chain management, and trade consulting services.

Anthony Dolan and Tim Witt of Oakbrook Terrace-based Prairie lead the transaction team.
