Lisle offers free August concert series

Lisle's Summer Concert Series at PrairieWalk Pond offers free music at 7 p.m. each Thursday in August at the intersection of Garfield and Burlington avenues, near downtown.

This year's lineup features a variety of music styles from the '70s, country, top 40 and Motown:

• Aug. 3: 1976

• Aug. 10: Mason Rivers

• Aug. 17: Shout Out

• Aug. 24: Second Hand Soul
