After hearing from residents who are against the project for several weeks, the Rolling Meadows City Council last night rejected a plan to allow a Texas-based developer to build a four-story community for about 300 residents in various states of independent- or assisted-living units. Mundelein buys land in downtown area for $200,000
Mundelein trustees have approved the purchase of 538 N. Morris Ave., a nearly 3-acre site just north of Park Street, for $200,000.
