Budget deal lacks structural reforms

I am not happy about taking a pay cut, as is our family business - Sonny Acres Farm - along with many others throughout Illinois.

People ultimately vote with their feet. Funding outrageous public pensions and increasing the tax burden have already driven taxpayers and businesses to other states. The latest deal in Springfield fails because it lacks the structural budget reforms needed to move Illinois forward.

Out of control politicians led by Mike Madigan have been allowed to chase residents out of the beautiful state where I was born and raised. Any politician who voted to overturn Governor Rauner's veto should lose their seat.
