Geneva church invites you to 'Worship by the Water' Aug. 11
Come "Worship by the Water" Sunday! The United Methodist Church of Geneva invites everyone to come for a morning of fishing, worship, and fun. The event will take place on Sunday, Aug. 11, at Fabyan Forest Preserve, 1925 S. Batavia Ave. in Geneva.
Fishing starts at 7:30 a.m. Anyone who is 17 and older must secure their own fishing license ahead of the event.
Worship will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Shelter No. 1, near the westside entrance off Route 31.
After worship, there will be a picnic lunch and games.
The regular worship services will be held at the church on Sunday at 8 and 9 a.m. as usual.
