Endorsement: Sanchez for Kane County Board, Dist. 24

Jarett Sanchez beat incumbent Joe Haimann in the Democratic primary, leaving a contest between Carpentersville residents Sanchez and Republican Roben Hall. Both strenuously oppose the Longmeadow Parkway project, both agree on a property tax levy freeze and both agree a cross-country track facility at Settler's Hill would be detrimental. We like and endorsed both candidates in their primaries but give the edge now to Sanchez for this free thinking and innovative problem-solving approach. Sanchez is endorsed.
