MCEDC announces annual dinner keynote speaker

MCHENRY - The McHenry County Economic Development Corporation announced Diane Hendriks, chairman and co-founder of ABC Supply, as the keynote speaker for the MCEDC Annual Dinner.

Hendricks is chairman and owner of building products distributor ABC Supply Co. She and her late husband, Kenneth Hendricks, founded ABC Supply in 1982. It is the largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products in the United States, with more than 700 locations nationwide, over 12,000 associates, and projected sales for 2017 of $9 billion.

"Diane is an accomplished business leader with a wealth of experience as a business owner, an entrepreneur, an investor, visionary, developer, philanthropist and civic leader," said Pam Cumpata, MCEDC president.

The dinner will be held from 5-8:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Holiday Inn Crystal Lake. Sponsorships are at $5,000, $3,500, $1,500, and early bird reservations (single tickets $125, tables of 8 $800), are now being accepted by contacting the MCEDC office at (815) 893-0895 or visiting the website www.mchenrycountyedc.com.
