Perfection needed for top cop job

If Chicago's Mayor Rahm Emanuel is truly serious about restoring trust and dignity in the CPD, he should without hesitation appoint Anne Kirkpatrick to the job.

Forget about the black/Latin/white voters and assign a qualified person - not a person of color so he looks good - a person of perfection.

He blew it when he fired Garry McCarthy, another goof-up and he will be fired - or should be.
