VFW Post 981 Color Guard Opens NABP National Meeting

Arlington Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 981 Color Guard was invited by the National Association of Board Pharmacies to present the colors at the beginning of their 117th Annual Meeting on May 13 2021.

The meeting was held virtually from the NABP headquarters in Mount Prospect. Along with the American flag, Post 981 Color Guard, led by Dale Berg, presented the Post flag and the POW/MIA flag. A hand salute was rendered during the Pledge of Allegiance and a recording of the National Anthem played and sung by a member of the NABP.

Post 981 is honored that their color guard was selected to perform the ceremony beamed out to the entire United States
