Watch candidates for the Elgin Area School District U-46 board take part in a joint interview with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board.

The 50-minute exchange among Melissa Owens, Veronica Noland, Dawn Martin and LeJewel Crigler was recorded on Zoom Feb. 17.

The election takes place on April 6, with mail-in and early in-person voting beforehand.
