Wauconda Bunny Hop gets hopping Saturday morning

Wauconda's sixth annual Bunny Hop race is set for 9 a.m. Saturday, starting at Cook Park, 600 N. Main St.

The course is a 4-mile loop around Bangs Lake. Another option is a 2-mile walk. Participation in the run costs $35, and the walk costs $20 to join. Proceeds will benefit Wauconda High School's Future Business Leaders of America team and a group called Veterans R&R.
