Trickster Center in Schaumburg marks Native American Heritage Month
November is Native American Heritage Month and the Trickster Cultural Center in Schaumburg will help area residents celebrate with a dinner, music and dance performances.
World-renowned musician Gabriel Ayala will hold a live concert in conjunction with a performance by Fancy Dancer Larry Yazzie during the evening of Saturday, Nov. 13.
Tickets for the 6 p.m. show at 190 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg cost $15 per person or $10 per veteran.
The performances will follow an optional 5 p.m. dinner, with food provided by Los 2 Amigos restaurant.
The Rolling Meadows eatery will cater two specials at the Trickster Center. The Trickster Special consists of fajitas de pollo y carne, rice, beans, a salad and tortillas for $15. The Kids Special provides either a chicken or steak taco with rice, beans and juice for $7.50.
