What traditional events were adapted for the pandemic and how?
Plays, Mr. NNHS, the Hypnotist Assembly, and other performances that are usually performed on our stage were done outside in the parking lot. Shows such as Orchesis were done virtually. All of the normal end-of-year senior activities will be done outside.
What were the most significant challenges faced by the Class of 2021 and how did they overcome them?
The pandemic was certainly the biggest challenge. The class has had many events and activities canceled or significantly altered from spring of their junior year through senior year. The class overcame the challenge through their positive outlook, hard work and determination.
Principal's reflections on the Class of 2021:
The Class of 2021 has certainly had their fair share of disappointments this year due to the pandemic. I am extremely proud of their positivity in dealing with all the adversity. Tough times and circumstances reveal character. The Class of 2021 has proven to be true Huskies in their determination and optimism in facing this unprecedented and challenging year. I am confident they will use this year as a learning experience as they move on to accomplish terrific things.
