Keep Brandenburg Road beautiful

An Adopt-a-Road volunteer day will be 9 to 10:30 Wednesday, Nov. 22, at the Volo Bog State Natural Area in Ingleside.

Volunteers can burn calories before the big turkey dinner and help keep Brandenburg Road beautiful. Adults and kids, age 10 and older with an adult, can participate. All equipment is provided.

Registration is requested at (815) 344-1294 or by email dnr.volobog@illinois.gov. New volunteers must preregister and plan to arrive by 8:45 a.m. for paperwork and safety orientation. The sessions will be rescheduled if weather is undesirable.

Volo Bog is on Brandenburg Road west off Route 12 between routes 120 and 134.
