Girls volleyball: Maine West wins in CSL North

With senior outside hitter Reilly Olson putting down 11 kills and 4 aces, Maine West's girls volleyball team improved to 5-4 in the Central Suburban North with a 23-25, 25-17, 25-15 triumph over visiting Vernon Hills Monday.

Sophomore defensive specialist Adriana Lopez collected 10 digs for the Warriors, who evened their overall record to 17-17.

Stevenson d. Palatine: Host Stevenson (22-11) posted a 25-20, 25-18 nonconference win over Palatine (18-11).
