Hey, you are killing us with taxes

Wheaton Warrenville Unit District 200 board member Barb Intihar noted that the last time money resulting from a referendum was put toward improvements at multiple buildings was in 1999.

She said "How many of us have not done anything to our homes for 18 years?"

You would be a fool to have not taken care of your home for that amount of time. Is that what District 200 did?

Then why do my taxes keep going up every year? How come my taxes went up over a $1,000 last year alone?

And now on a $322,300 home we can expect an estimated tax of $180.

You people are killing us.
