Vernon Hills girl wins National American Royal Beauties Pageant
Jasmine Wascow (10) of Vernon Hills, won the prestigious title of National American Royal Beauties Sweetheart 2021 at the National pageant held July 29th - August 2nd at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio where 26 other delegates competed in her age category.
Along with the National title, Jasmine also won the National Title of Overall Cover Girl, and awards for National Best Personality, Print Model and Top Model first runner up. She also won fabulous prizes including a cash prize and the opportunity to spend time with other young ladies celebrating positivity and emphasizing the importance of community service and inner beauty.
Jasmine, who is the daughter of Joe and Lucy Wascow, is a 5th grader in the Hawthorn School of Dual Language in Vernon Hills. She is a supporter of District 73's program "Aprendiendo Jugando" that provides children with fun activities during the year which they cannot usually experience due to financial strains. She enjoys travel soccer, dance, volunteering at several non-profit organizations and playing with her adorable boxer Shelby and her siblings.
