Goddard School-Cary students take part in science fair

On Wednesday, April 17, preschoolers at The Goddard School in Cary showed off their projects and experiments at the school's science fair.

The children created classroom projects and individual ones for the annual fair. Three science teachers from McHenry High School served as judges for the projects.

The school has also been featuring STEAM Spotlight Speakers, which will continue through its STEAM open house in May.

The science fair encourages the children's natural curiosity in STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) by allowing them to explore topics that they are interested in.

It also allows the children to practice their 21st-century skills, collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
