Wauconda Fest closes with fun, friendly competition

A car show, 5K/10K run and a bags tournament were among the highlights Sunday during the final day of the annual Wauconda Fest celebration.

The four-day festival in Cook Park also included rides, food and plenty of entertainment. On Sunday, Sones De Mexico and Bella Cain took to the main stage to close out the fest.

A craft show and bingo also kept festivalgoers entertained.
