Girls volleyball: Maine West wins on Senior Night

Maine West's girls volleyball team evened its record at 17-17 and improved to 5-4 in the Central Suburban North with a 25-13, 26-28, 25-22 on Senior Night in Des Plaines.

Seniors Julia Korte (5 kills), Brenna Skinner (8 kills, 1 block) and Lee Harty (1-for-1 serve attempts) led the way for the host Warriors.

Senior outside hitter Selin Kirali put down 10 kills to lead Vernon Hills (8-21, 2-7).
