Learn how to make holiday swag with Bloomingdale Artists Association Nov. 15

Add some holiday color to your home with a stunning silk centerpiece or swag.

The Bloomingdale Artists Association will present "Create a Holiday Centerpiece/Swag" on Wednesday, Nov. 15.

The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Park District Museum, 108 S. Bloomingdale Road in Bloomingdale.

Participants will work along with Lyn Tietz as she demonstrates her creativity with silk floral materials. Formerly an interior decorator, she is an artist and has also taught flower arranging for over 40 years at various libraries, park districts, art leagues and retirement homes.

A $20 materials fee for each participant will be collected plus an additional $10 visitor fee. Consider becoming a member.

The Bloomingdale Artists Association welcomes new members, beginner to experienced artists, or anyone just curious about art.

Membership dues for the calendar year of September 2023 through May 2024 are $30.
