Find a fun, new opportunity at Northbrook Park District job fair

Join an award-winning team and get paid to play!

Learn about the opportunities available when the Northbrook Park District and Open Kitchens host a Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, at Techny Prairie Activity Center, 180 Anets Drive. Full-time, part-time and seasonal positions are open and match many interests, schedules and skill sets. Talk to staff members, apply on-site, and enter a free drawing for an Amazon Gift Card.

Positions include:

• Heritage Oaks Golf Club - golf shop attendants, bag drop, range attendants, starters and player assistants

• Open Kitchens/Acorn Grill + Terrace at Heritage Oaks Golf Club - bartender, server, line cook, dishwasher, prep cook

• Before- and after-school care - site directors, counselors

• Preschool and early childhood staff members

• Customer service - front desk, building supervisors

• Custodians

• Grounds crew

• Fitness member associates

"We have a lot of wonderful opportunities for people who enjoy working in a fun, exciting, energetic environment," said Terah Bozarth, senior human resources manager. "The Northbrook Park District is an excellent place to gain experience and have a positive impact. From working outdoors in our parks, supervising children at before- and after-school programs, and assisting customers in our facilities, there's something for everyone."

In addition, the district's partner, Open Kitchens, is hiring for a variety of restaurant positions at the new Acorn Grill + Terrace, which will be opening later this summer at Heritage Oaks Golf Club.

The district received the Exceptional Workplace Award in January 2020 from the Illinois Parks and Recreation Association, acknowledging the district's best practices in the areas of wellness, health, safety, educational opportunities, volunteerism, social activities and environmental awareness.
