Historical society creates local tour brochure

In honor of Illinois' 200th anniversary Monday, Dec. 3, the Schaumburg Township Historical Society, in partnership with Schaumburg Township and the Schaumburg Township District Library, has prepared the Schaumburg Township Illinois Bi-Centennial Self-Guided-Tour brochure.

The brochure will provide all the information for a self-guided tour of 24 historic locations in Schaumburg Township. The brochure contains photos, historic information, addresses and a map of the township to guide the user to the location of each site.

The brochures can be found at the Schaumburg Township offices, 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates; Hoffman Estates village hall at 1900 Hassell Road; Schaumburg village hall at 101 Schaumburg Court; and the Schaumburg Township District Library, 110 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.
