Indoor musical kids program in Mundelein

Mundelein Park & Recreation District will host a free presentation of its new Indoor Musical Picnic program from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Mundelein Community Center, 1401 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein. Registration is required by Sept. 22. Visit mundeleinparks.org and enter program #5941. During the program, which will be held Oct. 22, Nov. 10 and Dec. 3, performers communicate positive messages through interactive and imaginative songs showcasing live music and instruments. The free presentation is for kids 10 and under with caregiver. A light snack will be provided but participants can bring a picnic blanket and lunch.
