It's cold outside - bring your workout inside

January is the perfect time to bring your workout indoors at Techny Prairie Activity Center, 180 Anets Drive in Northbrook. This newly opened facility features a 6,000-square-foot fitness floor with new cardio, strength and functional fitness equipment, an indoor walking track (8 laps to a mile) and a gymnasium with open gym times.

If you are ready to become a TPAC member, enjoy no enrollment fees through January. Membership provides access to all the amenities along with three, 30-minute Strong Start sessions with a personal trainer and three complimentary guest passes annually.

Membership also includes Fitness On Demandâ„¢ group fitness classes, along with discounts for personal training, specialty fitness classes and rentals.

Schedule a tour and enjoy a special January reduced daily rate of $12 for residents and $15 for others.

For those who need some help kick-starting their 2021 fitness plan, Resolution Solution offers a four-week program starting Monday, Jan. 18, that includes four personal training sessions, a nutrition seminar and a free T-shirt. Establish good habits while earning points for participation, along with a chance to be rewarded with prizes. The program fee is $199 for TPAC fitness members and $249 for others.

During COVID-19 Tier 3 mitigations, TPAC is using a reservation system and limiting capacity. Visit nbfitness.org/COVID-19 or call (847) 897-6180.
