Schaumburg bicyclist struck by vehicle

A 21-year-old male bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on Wise and Braintree roads in Schaumburg, according to Schaumburg police Sgt. Christy Lindhurst.

The Schaumburg Police Department received a call about the crash from a passer-by at 6:13, Lindhurst said.

The driver of the vehicle had no reported injuries, but the bicyclist was taken to Alexian Brothers Medical Center, according to Lindhurst. No further information was available.
