Free Kohl Children’s Museum pop-up coming to Schreiber Center in Round Lake
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago is partnering with Kohl Children's Museum to host a free pop-up museum experience from Oct. 14 through Dec. 23 at the John and Kathy Schreiber Center for Human Services, 101 N. Cedar Lake Road in Round Lake. Free and open to the public, the pop-up will feature five interactive exhibits, including an art studio, book nook and pet vet station, creating opportunities for children and families to engage in creativity, exploration and play. Information about the resources and support to individuals and families throughout Lake County also will be available. Catholic Charities provides a range of services, including food assistance, access to diapers, counseling, housing support, family services, and programs for older adults. Hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Weekday field trips available. Visit catholiccharities.net.
